Episode 64: A Peek Into Our Next Chapter

Man this parenting thing is legit no joke. We just celebrated Keanu's 3 month mark on the 11th and to be completely honest whoever said this was the hardest yet most rewarding job they have ever done or will ever do wasn't lying. It's crazy to see him grow and change right in front of our eyes. 
 
We're officially leaving Mexico and starting the next chapter in our never ending journey. Our story has only just begun. We appreciate all the love and support. We'll catch ya'll next week.

Hey Ya'll sorry we missed our episode last week. Family was in town and we were trying to have this dang baby. Luckily for us at 40 weeks and 5 days Amanda pushed that baby out. Great news, besides the fact that we're super tired Amanda is doing great. 
 
This is our best relocation of how our birthing story unfolded. Again we appreciate all the love and support up to this point. Now the real fun begins. Football, house cleaning, and homemade guacamole—just another day of multitasking.
Egg nog dilemma alert—seems I missed out on that holiday staple this year. Major disappointment!
And hey, heads up, we're taking a break from video podcasts for a while. Apologies to our viewers—we’ll miss those visual connections!
The folks are set to arrive in town next Tuesday, adding more excitement to the mix.
Baby update: Amanda’s now at 39 weeks, and we’re assuming Keanu's imminent arrival!
Tuesday's doctor appointment and another doula visit filled our week.
Amanda’s started curb walking—sounds quirky but apparently has its perks!
Highlights of the week: A relaxing Christmas (despite the pie mishap), and some exciting financial prospects on the horizon. Lows: Feeling swamped, struggling to reach out to everyone as the year wraps up.

And the gift from the Little Drummer Boy to the newborn Christ? He played a song on his drums—music to our ears!

T2P Episode 55: It’s a Christmas Miracle

Welcome back to Trying 2 Parent Podcast! It's Episode 55, and Merry Christmas, everyone!
We've had a bustling holiday week:
Costco runs for those last-minute Christmas goodies.
Experienced our first run-in with the cops—quite the surprise!
Dinner with friends and a stroll through town square checking out dazzling lights.
Hosting preggo pals at our place—Nina, our doggo, got to charm some expecting parents.
Taking a breather with a couple of days off work, watching holiday classics like The Grinch and Jingle All the Way.
The folks are coming into town soon
Baby update: Amanda’s hitting 38 weeks, and Keanu seems eager to make his debut, throwing some punches already!
We had a new doula visit, prepped the car seat, got the car spick and span, and installed new wipers—yep, that's adulting!
Tomorrow's the big 38-week checkup—exciting stuff!
Highs for the week: Quality time together, just chilling with Christmas tunes in the background. Lows: Business tends to slow down a bit during the festive season.
